    The VPA Ambassador Training prepares veterans to serve as trusted community educators and public messengers. Ambassadors learn how to explain renewable energy technology, answer common questions, and engage neighbors, media, and local leaders with confidence and clarity.

    The “WTF Is a Megawatt?” training is both an organizing and community education program that breaks down complex energy concepts into plain language. Participants learn what a megawatt actually means, how energy projects scale, and how renewable generation connects to jobs, affordability, and reliability. The goal is simple: make energy understandable, not intimidating.
